Borras S.L. has been manufacturing and selling cocoa products since 1917. Under our brand Maruja, we are specialized in high quality compound chocolate and biscuits and, thanks to our experience and to ongoing modernization, we are able to manufacture the best compound chocolate on the market.

WHY DO WE MAKE COMPOUND CHOCOLATE?
The Company decided to make a strategic change and make compound chocolate in 1952.
After years of chocolate making we had noticed that chocolate bars from all the manufacturers melted in the shops and at home.
What was the solution? To produce a compound chocolate using the same process we employed to make chocolate. We achieved the highest levels of quality and a product that was more heat resistant. That is how, what might be the best compound chocolate in the world came to be.
